Lap Sit Storytime
Ages: babies to 2yrs old
Mondays at 11am
Lap Sit storytime is for babies up to age two for a program with stories, rhymes, and fingerplays. This program will last about 15 minutes with activities and then 15 minutes of playtime. This program requires participation by adults during certain aspects of the storytime, such as bouncy rhymes.
Registration is required for this program, to register please go to the circulation desk. Lap Sit storytime is for babies to children ages 2yrs old, older siblings may attend but the program was designed for the ages specified. Storytime runs in sessions, this session will be five weeks (due to a holiday) and you may register for any or all of the programs in advance. Milltown residents are given priority over non-residents for registration.
Toddler Storytime
Wednesdays at 11am
Join us for stories, rhymes, books and more! This program lasts about 20 minutes with activities and then we will march to the children’s area.
At the children’s area we encourage you and your family to check out books, play with our toys (we will put some out) and color.

Toddler storytime is for children ages 2yrs old to 3yrs old, younger siblings may attend but the program was designed for the ages specified. Preschool Storytime
Wednesdays at 11:30am
Preschool storytime is for children (3yrs old to 5yrs old) who are getting ready for preschool, nursery school, or kindergarten. This program asks that parents/guardians wait outside the storytime room, but must remain in the library, where they can view through our many windows the activities. This is a great opportunity to observe how your child interacts with other children, follows directions, and starts to become accustomed to being in a classroom type setting.

Storytime runs in sessions, this session will be six weeks and you may register for any or all of the programs. Milltown residents are given priority over non-residents for registration.
Arts & Crafts
Fridays at 11am
Join us each week as we create a new craft!
Registration is required for this program, to register please go to the circulation desk. Arts & Crafts is for children ages 2yrs old and up, younger siblings may attend but the program was designed for the ages specified. Younger children will not be given a craft but instead toys, coloring books, and shakers. Arts & Crafts runs in sessions, this session will be six weeks and you may register for any or all of the programs in advance at the circulation desk. Milltown residents are given priority over non-residents for registration.
